Tips when buying:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Talk to us about our conveyancing <\/a>services before<\/span>\u00a0signing any contracts.<\/strong> We’re happy to have a chat and give you an outline of the process even before you’re ready to make an offer.<\/li>\n
  2. Assemble the team<\/strong> of people you will need to guide you through any purchase when you’re looking for properties. Usually you will need a conveyancing solicitor, a finance broker or personal lender, a building & pest inspection and a pool safety inspector. It’s always a good idea to get a personal “second opinion” from close family or friends about any properties you are thinking about buying.<\/li>\n
  3. Take a deep breath\u00a0<\/strong>and take good advice. Don’t feel pressured into buying any property. Generally you are only bound to buy a property if you have signed a written contract for purchase.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tips when selling:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Talk to friends, family and colleagues about appointing a real estate agent.<\/strong>\u00a0Finding the right agent can often be informed by getting a good reference from those you trust.<\/li>\n
    2. Get in touch with us<\/a> before signing a real estate agent’s appointment.<\/strong>\u00a0Real estate agents must have a written contract of appointment in place with you prior to listing your property for sale. The appointment is in a standard form, however, that form contains several serious risks to sellers for double commissions, and commissions without a sale. We can provide you some simple advice to overcome these problems.<\/li>\n
    3. Find out whether your property\u00a0has a title deed issued\u00a0<\/strong>and if you’ve paid off your mortgage find out whether your bank has released that mortgage off the title. Just because you’ve paid out your loan doesn’t automatically mean that your bank have release their mortgage off the title.
