MQLS<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Craig has been practicing as a solicitor for 38 years.\u00a0 He began practicing in the Brisbane CBD as a member of a small commercial firm before working for an international top tier firm.\u00a0 He then established his own practice at The Gap in 1989.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Born in Far North Queensland, Craig attended school on the Atherton Tablelands.\u00a0 He moved to Brisbane to study law.\u00a0 He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honors and went on to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Craig has taken on various community roles, including at present being:-<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpFirst\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">President of The Gap Sustainability Association<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A board member of the Australian Resuscitation Council<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">President of Shed Happens for Men at Ashgrove, The Gap<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A board member of Scouts Australia<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpLast\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">A Warden at the local Anglican Church<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">For many years Craig has provided pro bono services and advice to community organisations such as Scouts Australia, Scouts Queensland, Community Supporting Police in Queensland, the Friends of Newstead House and the Volunteer Rifle Association PNG.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b><span lang=\"EN-US\">Areas of practice<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Craig practices in many different areas of law.\u00a0 His main areas of practice over the last 38 years have been:-<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Property and commercial law<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Business transactions<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Wills and estate administration<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Family law<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpMiddle\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Personal injuries law<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraphCxSpLast\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Civil litigation <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CRAIG RAY | Principal LL.B.
